Nez Nelsen Gram Vibes

We all have them in some fashion or another. And according to “Mental health is disruptive, it can turn our worlds upside down, leaving us feeling kerplunked. Quite often, we might find ourselves having to make adjustments to our lives, to make room for recovery. It can sound counter-intuitive but developing a daily routine can help us to feel more in control of everything, and help us to make room for all that’s important. Routine can aid our mental health. It can help us to cope with change, to form healthy habits, and to reduce our stress levels.” In other words, get a routine, impact and improve your life! A routine can anchor us and keep us feeling more in control of our lives, reducing stress. Primarily reducing cortisol, the stress hormone.

Sleep and sleep hygiene is the foundation of it all. I’ve nailed down a good bedtime routine. But I lack good sleep still. And if you’ve got this down your winning the races!

Another routine is daily routines. These are the ‘building blocks’. These help us cultivate positive daily habits and prioritize self-care. Something I have to kindly remind myself of too. See I’m still in the old school way of thinking, hard work pays off. So this new “woke age” is just taking some time for me.

Some of my daily practices and routines include stretches, exercises, meditation, prayer, oils, open communication with my family and specially my husband and arting. What are some of your daily routines? What gets you out of a funk and keeps you safe?
